Robert Barber for Comptroller General: Logo

Client: Robert Barber, candidate for Comptroller General of South Carolina

Project: Logo design

Description: In advance of the website design/launch, Harbor Light Media designed a logo for Robert's campaign. The logo plays off the alternate meaning of his name while still invoking the traditional political symbolism of the American flag.

Leon Stavrinakis for Statehouse: Logo

Client: Leon Stavrinkakis, incumbent in SC House district 119

Project: Logo design

Description: Harbor Light Media designed and implemented a new logo for Leon's reelection campaign.

Anne Peterson Hutto for Statehouse: Logo

Client: Anne Peterson Hutto, incumbent in SC House district 115

Project: Website design, site maintenance, online media consulting.

Description: Harbor Light Media designed a new logo for Anne as she embarked on her first reelection campaign. The challenge in this project was to neatly fit her 17-letter name into an easily-readable, bumper sticker-ready format.

theDiscust: Logo

Client: theDiscust, an in-house publication of HLM

Project: Logo design

Description: Every internet publication needs an eye-catchy logo, and that's what we set out to create when we launched theDiscust. It's easy to read, easy to add on top of photographs when necessary, and has the bold "SC" standing out right in the middle leaving no doubt that we're all about poking fun at our home state of South Carolina.

South Carolina New Democrats: Logos

Client: South Carolina New Democrats

Project: Rebranding and other design work as well as video production

Description: In 2007, the South Carolina Democratic Leadership Council was transitioning to become the South Carolina New Democrats and contracted with Harbor Light Media for design work. In addition to rebranding with a new SCND logo, HLM designed a logo for the "5 Big Ideas" campaign that was introduced at the state Democratic Convention in April of that year, and is still being used.

Harbor Light Media: Logo

Client: Harbor Light Media

Project: Design our own logo

Description: You've got to brand yourself, right? We wanted an image that conveyed steady certainty and tied in well to our home base in Charleston, South Carolina, so we based our identity and name around the lighthouse.
